August 2025 Floral Calendar

I always liked those calendars with beautiful calligraphy that you occasionally see on Pinterest. You know, the ones making use of hand-lettering to write the month name that sometimes also have some vintage illustrations to decorate the calendar.

I was feeling creative the other day, so I started making an August floral calendar just to see how it would turn out. Since my hand-lettering skills are are not that great, I tried a few script fonts and for the graphics I used some free watercolor flowers illustrations I found online.

The first floral calendar for August is vertical. For the graphics I used gladioli (which seems to be plural for gladiolus), one of the two birth flowers of August. Typography enthusiasts might appreciate knowing that the handwritten font is Sogiourno, which I think complements the overall floral aesthetic.

The second August calendar with flowers is very cute and has poppy flowers as the main graphic element. Why poppy flowers? Because poppy is the other birth flower of August. The font I chose for the name of month is Autery (by MasAnis) – an elegant script font which goes well with the floral theme.

Both calendar templates are free and are available in high-resolution JPEG format (300dpi) which is recommended for high-quality printing.
